Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an entrance examination which is held annually by Indian Institute of Technology and seven other Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee).
