GATE 2017 Results
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017 result has been announced on the official website, http://www.gate.iisc.ernet.in.
How to check GATE 2017 Result?Candidates need to follow these steps in order to check the GATE 2017 Results:
Visit the official website
Click on the link, 'GATE Results 2017'
Enter the required details and click submit.
The GATE 2017 results will be displayed on the computer screen. The candidates must have a print-out for future requirement.
The official website of GATE crashed due to heavy traffic, and the candidates were not able to access the results. Candidates need to wait for at least 10 to 15 minutes and check again for the GATE Results.
Candidates can also download GATE 2017 score card from the official website. The GATE 2017 score cards will be issued to:
- All SC/ST/PwD candidates whose marks are greater than or equal to the qualifying marks of SC/ST/PwD candidates in their papers
- All other candidates whose marks are greater than or equal to the qualifying mark of OBC (NCL) candidates in their respective papers.
The GATE score card is valid for a period of three years after the GATE results announcement. If a candidate has scored a good GATE score, it helps in obtaining financial assistance during Master's degree programmes and direct Doctoral programmes in Engineering/Technology/Architecture, as well as Doctoral programmes in relevant branches of science in the institutes that are supported by the MHRD/other government agencies.
